We are holding our annual meeting for all Heads of Department on Tuesday 3rd February 2015, starting 13.30, with lunch available at 12.45pm.

The meeting will focus on the outcomes of the REF and how researchers, departments and universities can respond. Andrew Pollard and members of the sub-panel will be leading the discussions. Formal invitations have been sent directly.

1.30-2.00pm – Welcome, introduction and BERA developments – Prof. Ian Menter
2.00-3.30pm – REF 2014 – What does it mean for education and educational research? Discussion introduced and led by Prof. Andrew Pollard and other members of the Education sub-panel.
3.30-4.00 – Next steps – what can/ should BERA be doing in response?
4.00 – Close.
