Academic publishing: Answering all your questions

How can I publish my research open access? What exactly is a post-print? And why does peer review take so long? Answering all your questions and more, this event will bring together a panel of experienced editors and authors to discuss what education researchers need to know about academic publishing.

Working across a range of education research outputs published by BERA, including journals, books, blogs, podcasts and magazines, panellists will explore the publishing process for each publication type. These short opening presentations will be followed by a panel discussion, covering a broad range of issues in academic publishing, such as open access, peer reviewing, editing opportunities and impactful dissemination. Audience members are invited to bring along their questions for the panellists and contribute to the conversation.

Led by the Chair of BERA’s Publications Committee, the event will showcase BERA’s publications portfolio and the opportunities available to both members and non-members to publish with BERA.
