Please ensure you are wearing your badges at all times as you will need these to access the buildings. If you lose your badge, please go to the registration desk where a new badge will be printed for you you.
BERA Blog
The BERA Blog was established in 2015 to provide research-informed content on key educational issues in an accessible manner. Now a major focal point for responsive, high-quality short articles, the blog reaches a audience of nearly 180,000 academics, policymakers, parents, teachers and educational leaders both within and beyond the UK. Readers can keep up-to-date with a diverse range of topics through short reports or summaries of research, opinion pieces and responses to policies. Cloakroom
The cloakroom will be located in University Place – The Drum. The cloakroom will be staffed at all times. Delegates may leave their items at their own risk. BERA, WERA and the University of Manchester cannot take responsibility for any loss or damage to items.

Exhibition & Catering
Tea, coffee and lunch breaks will be served in the official breaks in the University Place and the Marquee.
The exhibition and catering are located together in University Place. In order to keep registration fees to a minimum, it is vital that we have the support of commercial organisations at the conference. Please make time to visit the stands and meet the company representatives.

Liability and Insurance
BERA, WERA and the University of Manchester are not able to take any responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons and property during the conference. Delegates are advised to take out their own personal insurance to cover travel, accommodation, cancellation and personal effects.

Wellbeing and Neurodiversity
This year we will be offering zones and sessions to promote neurodiversity and wellbeing during the conference. If you have not already booked a place there are still spaces available on these sessions ranging from chair massages to breathwork and painting. These sessions are taking place on the 1st Floor at University Place.
