Information for poster presenters

Physical Posters

Posters will be displayed during the duration of the conference in the Courtyard Restaurant, Conference Aston where catering and exhibition is held. There will be a prize for poster presentations. All posters will be judged by a member of the BERA Committees.

You will need to be available by your poster on the following date and time:

Tuesday 12 September 2023
12.30 – 13.30 AND 15.00 – 15.20 AND 17.00 – 17.20

The best poster will have a rosette displayed on the poster on the Tuesday evening to highlight their poster as well as receiving complimentary attendance at the BERA Conference 2024.

• All posters should be prepared in advance and brought to the conference by the presenters. We are not able to receive any posters in advance
• There will no facilities on-site for printing or composing posters
• Each poster should be no larger than A0 paper size. This should be landscape only
• You will be provided with materials to mount your poster

You will also deliver a 5-minute presentation of your poster during one of the sessions.

ePosters

Your poster will be displayed in the electronic poster gallery online and on the mobile app. There will be a prize for poster presentations. All posters will be judged by a member of the BERA Committees and the attendees. You do NOT need to bring a physical copy of your poster.

You will have a 5 minute presentation of your poster in the session. This does not include Q&A. You can choose to either use your ePoster on one slide or you can use additional slides, however it is only 5 minutes.

The best ePoster will receive complimentary attendance at the BERA Conference 2024.
