BERTiE is a curated archive of web resources, aggregated in a semantic search environment that allows education researchers to find information and links quickly and effectively. The aim of BERTiE is to allow users to tap into an archive of online resources recommended by academics. BERTiE will works over a range of platforms and is supported on desktop, smartphone and tablet. Results are peer-reviewed and curated, ensuring only credible results, and can be further defined by searching sub-categories under Discussion, Policy and Research.

BERTiE is a product of experience; at Bath Spa University, we know a lot about education – in our Institute for Education, we’ve been educating students, teachers and other education professionals since the 1940s. In 2016, we celebrate 70 years of teaching teachers. The Institute is a place where students, teachers, governors, researchers, support staff and everyone interested in education can come together in a community of research and practice – and BERTiE will reflect this.
