BERA ECR Career Development Fellowship Award & BERA Undergraduate Award Winners
We are delighted to announce that due to the quality of this year’s applications we have been able to award an additional career development award.
There are three recipients of this years career development award:
- Anna Mariguddi (Edge Hill University)
- Cherry Zin Oo (Yangon University of Education)
- Kathryn Spicksley (University of Worcester)
The Fellowship is a flexible package of benefits intended to support ECRs in the first three years following completion of their doctorate, focusing in particular on those who are insecurely and precariously employed.
We are also able to announce the winner of the BERA 2021 Undergraduate Award. This award is for recent graduates who have completed their undergraduate degrees in a field related to educational research.

The judges also felt that an additional application was suitable for being awarded the highly commended award.
