New Chair of BERA’s Conference & Events Committee

BERA is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Aimee Quickfall as the next Chair of the Conference & Events Committee (CEC). She will take up the role on 1 January 2026, following the conclusion of Professor Mhairi Beaton’s term.

Aimee is a current BERA Council member was elected unopposed to the position. Her application was reviewed by members of Council and formally endorsed. With extensive experience in BERA’s events and governance, she will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our conferences and events while serving as a trustee to help guide the strategic direction of the association.

Aimee will work closely with the current CEC Chair throughout 2025, attending key meetings and the BERA Conference 2025 in Sussex to ensure a smooth transition.

We look forward to her leadership in this important role.
