Eleanor Grace, Ms

PhD Researcher at Manchester Metropolitan University

Eleanor Grace (she/her) is a PhD researcher at Manchester Metropolitan University on the White Rose DTP Collaborative Award with the Proud Trust. Their mixed-methods study explores the perspectives of LGBTQ+ young people, secondary school staff, and LGBTQ+ inclusion professionals regarding the school factors constituting an LGBTQ+ supportive environment and behaviours understood to be school-based microaggressions related to LGBTQ+ identities. Eleanor has previously worked delivering Relationships and Sex Education and clinical sexual health services for more than seven years within Manchester, London and Zimbabwe. Her work and research interests span young people’s mental health and wellbeing, reproductive justice and research ethics, particularly with young people in research.
