Eleanor Long is a White Rose DTP third-year PhD student at the Sheffield Institute of Education at Sheffield Hallam University. She is writing her PhD thesis on the experiences of primary education staff who have recently undertaken trauma informed professional development. A practitioner in school herself for the past 20 years, she is an advocate for improving child mental health and for trauma-informed education. Prior to studying her PhD, she undertook an MSc in Developmental Psychology and an MRes at Hallam.
