Dr Jacky Tyrie is a senior lecturer in Early Childhood Studies at Swansea University. Her teaching focuses on children’s rights and the early years from a sociological and geographical perspective. Her research interests are focused on participation rights in early childhood education and care settings. Jacky co-ordinates the Children’s Rights in Early Years (CREY) Network (Wales). The CREY Network draws together academics with policymakers, NGOs and practitioners to share knowledge and work together to support children’s rights in Wales.
