Regina Sungkeong Kim obtained a bachelor's degree in Music Composition and holds two master's degrees: one in Music Therapy Education (MEd) and another in Psychology and Education (MA). During her first master's programme, she underwent training as a music therapist and gained valuable experience working at both a hospital and a special school in South Korea. Her expertise lies in early interventions for young children with hearing difficulties, with a particular interest in their language development, as well as the application of music therapy for children with special educational needs. Looking forward, Regina has been offered a place in a PhD program at UCL and is prepared to further her educational pursuits there, commencing in 2024.
