Sharon Vince is a doctoral researcher at UCL Institute of Education. Her thesis explores the impact that early years funding policies are having on children, practitioners and settings. Her wider research interests include the interactions between education and early years policy and practice, and inequalities in education and early years. These interests were shaped while working as an early years and primary school teacher in London for 15 years. Sharon is Lecturer in Education Studies and Early Childhood Studies at the University of West London.
