Ronan is a Lecturer in the QUT Academy of Learning and Teaching and the School of Teacher Education and Leadership. He is a Senior Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and coordinates professional development modules in learning and teaching for academic staff. His research focuses on English as an additional language or dialect (EAL/D), internationalisation and assessment design.
