Sarah Anderson, Dr

Sarah Anderson is a Professor of Teacher Education at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Sarah taught high school English, social subjects and special education, and was also a Fulbright Scholar to Norway in 2011–12. Before moving to the United Kingdom, she worked as a teacher educator in the United States as an associate professor and accreditation coordinator. She has instructed graduate and undergraduate pedagogical and special education courses, advised capstone portfolios, dissertations and theses, and supervised clinical experiences. Her research interests include teacher evaluation, continuous improvement efforts, comparative education, educational policy and effective instructional strategies. She is currently the BERA special interest group convenor for Scotland for Teacher Preparation and Development and the department head of Teacher Education at Glasgow University.
