Dr Nancy Barclay is a principal lecturer at the University of Brighton. Her research interests are in primary mathematics education, in particular mixed-attainment learning in primary schools and the nature of pupil dialogue in mathematics learning. Nancy is currently working on a Nuffield Foundation-funded project exploring the prevalence and use of curriculum resources – including Department for Education-funded textbooks – in primary mathematics.
