Emilia Åkesson is a PhD student in education at the Department of Behavioural Science and Learning at Linköping university. Emilia has a teacher degree from Södertörn university and a master’s degree in gender studies from Linköping university. Before entering the doctoral programme, Emilia worked as an educator, in the fields of anti-discrimination, norm-critique and intimate partner violence.
