Chi-yin Henry Liu is Hong Kong-born and bred. As a prospective teacher, he hopes to motivate students in ascertaining their inner strengths and discovering what truly inspires them. During his university years, he volunteered in UNICEF Kazakhstan as a Communications Associate. The experience led to his research interests, including: educational equality; capital theory; and global citizenship education. His undergraduate Honors Project was titled ‘A comparative study on the effectiveness of Hong Kong and Singapore’s citizenship education curriculum in cultivating students to become global citizens’.
