Mathew Jones is a primary subject tutor at the Open University in Wales and supports student teachers studying the part-time or salaried PGCE programme. Before joining the Open University, he was a headteacher later moving to the role of assistant director of teacher training at Yr Athrofa (Institute of Education), University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Mathew is also the director of learning for Cymbrogi Futures and believes in enabling future generations to sustain and nurture an equitable, sustainable and socially-progressive world – in Wales and beyond. He is passionate about nurturing the wellbeing and creativity of all young people in a fast-changing and challenging world.
