Esther Cummins, Ms

Student at University of Manchester

Esther is a part-time PhD student at the University of Manchester, researching the relationship between values, ethos, and policy in faith majority settings. She is keen to partner with other researchers in this field.

Esther is the former Course Leader at Falmouth University, where she led the new MA Education (online). Esther formerly worked at Leeds Beckett University as a Course Director with responsibility for MA Inclusive Practice in Education, BA Primary Education (accelerated), and BA in Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusion, the latter of which she wrote.

Before moving to Higher Education, Esther was a primary school teacher and senior leader. She has worked in different faith and community schools in Kent, Oxford, and North Yorkshire. Whilst working in schools, Esther had several responsibilities, including leading inclusive practice, early years, community partnerships, religious education, and collective worship.
