Dr Liz White, Initial Teacher Education Research and Mentor Development Lead, University of Hertfordshire.

Liz works on the School Direct programme for Initial Teacher Education and chairs the university’s Researcher Development Group. Her research is about the professional development needs of teacher educators and how they can be nurtured in a professional learning community to support their emerging identity. She has published books and FLiTE resources for teacher educators in collaboration with academics from the UK and The Netherlands. Liz is co-chair of the Professional Development of Teacher Educators Research and Development Community of the Association of Teacher Educators in Europe and Secretary of IPDA England
