Yang Hu is Senior Lecturer at the Department of Sociology, Lancaster University, UK. He obtained his PhD in Sociology from the University of Cambridge (October 2015). His research focuses on changing family, gender and sexual relations, and their intersection with population mobility in a global context. He is an editorial board member of Sociology, Journal of Marriage and Family, and Sociology Compass. Yang is the author of the book Chinese-British Intermarriage—Disentangling Gender and Ethnicity (Palgrave, 2016). Since 2015, Yang has published 21 articles in peer-reviewed journals such as European Sociological Review, Journal of Marriage and Family, Environment and Planning A, Chinese Sociological Review, Journal of Sex Research, and Population, Space and Place.
