Carmen Dalli is professor of early childhood education at Victoria University of Wellington, Institute for Early Childhood Studies. She researches across the fields of early childhood (EC) policy, teacher professionalism, infants and toddlers in EC services, and children’s experiences in early childhood settings. She is prinicipal investigator of the Marsden-funded project (2017-2020): War and Peace in the Nursery: How do young children negotiate conflict to establish belonging and wellbeing in a multi-ethnic NZ early childhood centre?
