The Festival of Higher Education will run for two days from the 13^th of June to the 14^th and currently has 40+ confirmed speakers including: Andrew Adonis Labour peer former Transport Secretary, Michael Barber Chairman of Delivery Associates and chair of the Office of student, Amanda Spielman HM Chief inspector of education, Rt Hon David Willets Executive chair of the Resolution Foundation. The themes include: social mobility, raising teaching quality, the transition to work and HE, mental health and wellbeing, freedom of speech, artificial intelligence, provision of comprehensive education, fair funding, and is the curriculum fit for purpose? Additionally, Claire Fox, Director of Academy of Ideas, will be chairing ‘Question Time’ – an engaging session where stimulating questions will be put forward to a panel of HE professionals.
