PhD Scholarship in Philosophy of Education
The School of Education, Oxford Brookes University is looking for strong candidates to apply for one, three year, full-time PhD studentship. For the successful candidate the home/EU fee will be paid by the Faculty and the student will receive an annual stipend of £7000 for three years beginning in 2014/15. The competition is open to both home/EU and International students, but International applicants should be aware that they would need to fund the difference between the Home/EU and International research degree fees each year for the duration of the award.
The School of Education is looking for strong candidates to apply for one three-year, full-time PhD studentship. The Studentship is intended for a candidate who will pursue a PhD project that falls broadly within one of the School’s key thematic research areas:
Learning, Identity and Culture
Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment (particularly Science Education)
Childhood, Families and Community
Educational Purposes, Ethics and Beliefs
Partnership, Policy and Leadership
